Off to Kronborg Castle, location of Shakespeare's Hamlet
On the train to Kronborg, about 1 hour north of Copenhagen
Winter
That's Sweden across the way
Easy to get there from the train station

From the castle looking back into town
The sign says Christmas in Kronborg
Bird's eye view of the castle

The moat
The viking protecting the castle
Tour began under the castle in the catacombs. It was completely dark, so too difficult to take any good photos. They stored food and goods under the castle, in addition to some stables (connected to doors to the outside).
Views of the canons from inside the castle
Another nice view from the castle
On the water is the ferry from Sweden to Denmark
Beautiful tapestries adorned the walls
This is how the tapestries would have been hung, side by side (so more of the wall was covered)
Inside a nook in the grand ballroom
Ballroom at Christmas time

Painting in another room, notice Kronborg in the background
In the courtyard
In the chapel with a nice bit of sunlight
Walking around the rampart
Viking Mom in the gift shop
Dad insisted - To be or not to be?
Rampart
Swedish/Danish ferry
Businesses within the walls
Square in the town, we had kabab (no surprise there)
